Maybe it's different for 2003, but I remember that the C5s top speed is 175, and I recall being surprised that the Z06 was 4mph slower. I'm more than confident a stage 3 Z could break 171mph. Concerning traction, being auto helps. Yes I do spin tires, but not till about 5500rpm in 1st gear :) Power just comes on so hard above 4,000rpm that when I get full spool and start getting higher in the revs, the tires just start lighting up at about 35mph. The auto is pretty nice.. Shifts out of first at ~48mph, out of 2nd at ~77mph.. Out of 3rd at ~120mph. First time I had it up fast (since the rebuild), I had it pegged, knew I was still in 3rd gear, look down, and it's at about 6800rpm, and I'm going 117mph :) I love the auto's gearing. Poo for power below 3,000rpm, especially with my sport 500s and all cats still present :( Buying some GD split downpipes soon....
